Advanta contributed to ADOCOSE bringing together the insurance and health risks communities

On the 29th of May 2018, ADOCOSE organized a roundtable entitled “Global Perspective on Fire & Catastrophes”. ADVANTA was invited on the panel as one of the key participants. The roundtable discussion was attended by the leading insurance companies, brokers, health risks administrators as well as the regulatory bodies of the Dominican Republic.

José Miguel Varela, ADVANTA’s Regional Director (LATAM & Caribbean) provided valuable insights and input on the subject matter, highlighting the importance of the insurance sector’s effective management of Natural Catastrophes and Fire losses that have affected the Dominican Republic and other locations in recent years. The session also emphasized the impact of the aforementioned risks on Property Insurance.
